Applicants must meet the requirements to be eligible for admission and to be considered. Applicants from Mainland and overseas institutions must be proficient in English, to the extent that they are capable of learning in English. #(2) HKU Summer Institute application deadline for undergraduate programmes is 31 March 2019 for student requiring a student visa. For local students, application deadline is 31 May 2019. #(3) Typically, students are arranged to check-in one day before the first day of programme, and to check-out from halls one day after the last day of programme. No extra stay beyond the programme period will be allowed.
