Course Description:

This five-day course is designed for secondary students interested in translating between Chinese and English. As the medium of instruction is Cantonese, students should be proficient not only in English but also in Cantonese. The instructor will teach basic concepts and skills of translation and interpreting, preparing students for admission to a BA Programme in Translation in Hong Kong. Students will be required to take part actively in class discussions, in addition to doing homework and classwork.
