The Bespoke Programme aims to provide tailor-made short-term training courses for students from Mainland and overseas educational institutions through personalized training and diversified development, combining international expertise with local experience. The Programme design is mainly based on lectures and field trips, with in-depth lectures by HKU professors or experts, supplemented by visits to relevant government departments, industrial and business organizations. Both theory and practice are emphasized to cultivate elites with an international perspective.
Contents of the Programme are flexible and tailor-made to meet the specific needs and requirements of each individual institution. In addition to regular lectures, different learning modes such as site visits, group discussions and workshops are offered to enable participants’ abilities in applying what they have learned. Their personal development under professional guidance will be further enhanced.
To ensure the highest quality teaching and learning, only seasoned HKU faculty members are invited to conduct the Programme. Furthermore, authoritative experts, government and business leaders are invited to serve as guest lecturers and share their insights and experiences with our participants.
Over the century, HKU has built up close partnerships with local government agencies and departments, as well as public and private organizations. Programme participants are therefore, opportune to join site visits to major public and private organizations, even in person meeting and exchange with professional leaders there.
The programme period is extremely flexible, which is not limited to summer or winter breaks. It can be conducted at any time throughout the year, either through face-to-face or online mode. Target participants included graduate or undergraduate, high school or junior high school students from overseas or mainland China.
